What is Networkology?

Networkology is the pioneering host of LIVE business networking events held entirely online. Using some clever technology, we have developed an online speed-networking system that enables small businesses to engage with each other in a real time environment. For the first time, entrepreneurs can attend those all-important networking events from the comfort of their office.

So how does the Networkology™ system work?

Attending a Networkology™ networking event couldn’t be simpler! Just follow these 4 easy steps:

1. Register  as a user for free
2. Search  and subscribe to an event that you wish to attend
3. Download  & install the free Networkology™ software
4. Log-in when your event is due to commence and start networking

When you login to your chosen event, you will first be taken to the lounge area where you can chat freely to all other attendees. After a short period of time the lobby will close and you will be automatically taken into private chat applets with individual users. At regular intervals the system rotates and you will start a new conversation with a different user. Speed networking gives you the opportunity to make many more contacts from each event and get a maximum return on your investment.

What events can I attend and how much do they cost?

At Networkology™ we have two types of events:

Firstly we have Public events. These events can be national, regional or industry specific and are open to anyone.

Secondly we have Private events that are put on by organisations specifically for their own members. Private events are password protected and are only open to those who have been invited by the host.

All of our events are offered on a pay-per-event basis. The cost of an event can vary dependant on which type it is. Generally you can expect to pay from £5 to £15 to attend an event, although we do also run regular taster events for our new members and have special offers throughout the year.

How will I remember who I have spoken to?

After each event you will have the option to save all of your conversations to your local computer so that you may re-read them at your leisure and follow-up on your leads.

But I’m not that good with computers!

Don’t worry, installing and using the software is very easy. Once you have installed the software, you just have to login with your username and password and we do the rest. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy networking!

What kind of computer system do I need to attend events?

The Networkology client requires a computer with at least a Pentium 2 Processor, 128Mb RAM and running Microsoft Windows 98 SE or above.

The Networkology client also requires the .Net Framework 2.0 installed, which will be installed automatically if it is not already installed.

What if I get logged out during an event?

Not a problem! Just log back in as soon as possible and the system will automatically pop you straight back into your rightful place.

Do you have technical support available?

We certainly do! If you have any technical problems whatsoever with the site then please open a support ticket  and we will work to resolve your problem as soon as possible.

Does online networking work?

There is little doubt that networking can be a vital tool in helping you achieve more business. The more contacts you make and the wider your network becomes, then the more chance you have of winning business. Our system allows you to enjoy all the benefits of traditional networking events without having to leave your PC.
